Broker/Owner Mike Schroeder is a 1989 Graduate of Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Agricultural Economics. Mike was born and raised in Brenham, Texas and Mike has been with RE/MAX Preferred Homes since 1999 starting out as a buyer's agent for veteran owners Don and Jeanne Machrowicz. In 2001 Mike became a buyer's agent for Don and Jeanne and then in 2004 Mike became the Team Leader for RE/MAX Preferred Homes. In January 2011, Mike and Pam purchased the office from the previous owners and will continue the high level of customer service that the office has achieved in the past. Becoming a Realtor was not a “what do I do now”, it was a Career long Goal that I worked towards. Growing up in small town Nebraska, I knew I needed and wanted a more challenging life. During my years at West End, I became Active with the Greater Houston Builders Association where I served two terms as an elected Board Member and two years as the Associate Council President. As a graduate from the University of Illinois (Champaign-Urbana), and a native of Chicagoland area, Melanie Cooper has over a decade of experience in real estate. After being a “stay at home” mom to raise my family I am at that “reclaiming me” place in my life.
